The netfilter is a syndication of netaudio music that we've enjoyed. It's based purely on our contributors opinions yet aims to be divserse and interesting - very much quality over quantity. This is not on open forum, so you can't post material by yourself. Think of it as a mixtape or aural stream of our favourite netlabel material.
We don't claim to be able to listen to everything out there but we do subscribe to the Yahoo netaudio list and the DE:BUG / Phlow podcasts. If you especially feel the need to alert us of your material please use [netfilter at polymorphic-music dot co dot uk].
This netfilter material is available via our podcast. The aim is to provide a high quality audio stream of free music, distributable under creative commons.
The podcast is the most convenient way to enjoy this material, but PLEASE, if you enjoy what you hear then gives props to the netlabels / artists involved. Blog it, discuss it on forums and don't forget ,a little feedback on their site goes a long way.
Various Artists - Bag Of Nothingness |
19 Feb 2009
Yes yes! Error Broadcast opens for business in fine style rep’ing the somewhat underexposed genre of leftfield Hip Hop in the netaudio arena.
The quality of tracks on this comp is testament to the selecta abilites of the headz behind the project. Swen & Flip run 12rec and Zymogen respectively, two established vehicles for exacting netaudio.
Props :)

Kalte - The Lanthanide Series |
01 Oct 2008
The ever reliable Stasisfield return with an excellent dark and brooding piece of sonic art from Canada’s Kalte.
Check out the release page for John Kannenberg’s beautiful digitised artwork and a zip file of the whole package.
Atheistically, the label draws parallels to the superb Touch label, allbeit with a slight less organic approach to the artwork. An high accolade indeed..

Various Artists - Moreover Modling |
08 May 2007
Without doubt, one of our favourite releases of last year. I think the 12rec description is perfect :
An adventurous mindset is about the only thing the bands on this record have in common. They draw their influences and ideas from a diverse array of areas that range from the serious to the absurd and from the pragmatic to the highly complex. From an outside point of view the various parts of this compilation may seem like a concise and tightly woven section of a tiny fraction of all the music on this planet, but diving into the contents offered herein, you’ll find whole worlds opening to you.
Essential stuff.
